Gianmarco Bersani was born in 1990 and has always been keen on fashion, art and costume history. Such interests, combined with that for communication, led him to Milan where he studied Media Communication.

Since 2012 he has been realising projects as web-contributor, stylist and creative director. Then he discovered the millinery world.

Gianmarco is an independent craftsman and in his creations mixes different influences and personal backgrounds, creating made to measure headpieces and tiny handcrafted manufacturings.

His pieces were hosted at events in Milan and Rome, and appeared on international magazines: Elle, GQ, and L'Officiel.

With his alter-ego called “Vanille Queen” Gianmarco has performed in several clubs and events of Milan (Givenchy private parties, Plastic etc). He then modeled for photographers and directors starring, for example, in the video “As You Desire Me” by Francesco Vezzoli (for Nowness) and for “Here We Stand” by Sebastiano Mauri, which was published on “The Fashionable Lampoon”. Pictures of Vanille have been exposed at international events and exhibitions from Milan to Los Angeles, Sydney and Haifa (Israel).
